There is so much that is so intriguing about the culture, society and politics of Bhutan and so much I want to write about. (And so much of it that I think would be appalling and infuriating for a right wing libertarian).
But in the meantime please enjoy these roadside signs that line the major roads. Initially we thought it was enthusiastic community minded Bhutanese, but then we discovered the signs are a product of the Indian road building contractors Dantak. We tried hard to collect the whole set via drive-by photos and this is just a very small selection of the signs we saw.
