About

I live on the glorious south coast of Western Australia in the small town of Denmark (not in Europe). When not in front of a computer I can usually be found in the ocean, in the garden, or the forest.
I am working on a PhD in Environmental Humanities – an ecobiography of Sarah Brooks, a 19th century botanical collector from remote south-east Western Australia.
I work as a part-time lecturer in Sustainability at Murdoch University and have always worked in the environmental and sustainability area.
I am focusing on creative non-fiction right now, but have written a few short stories in the past. See my writing CV here.
